Symptoms
When you browse to a webpage that asks you to fill out a form or enter information in a text field, there is incorrect text pre-populated, or the field is filled out when you don't want it to be.
Resolution
Use the links below to find instructions on how to change or disable automatic form filling in your web browser.
Note: If your browser is saving passwords or other protected fields (where text appears as asterisks ***** or bullet points •••••), then you may need to disable your password manager instead.
Cause
Many web browsers include an "Auto-fill" or "Auto-complete" feature designed to save you time in entering commonly typed information, such as your name, address, phone number, and email address.
