LITS would like to remind you of three service events taking this place this week which may impact network connectivity for some devices. This includes on-campus network connectivity and the ability to connect to campus resources from off-site for the duration of the events.
Wired network registrations will be reset
Monday, June 1st - 10:00pm
Impact: Some devices may need to be registered again. If you are using a wired device on campus and can't connect to the internet after the date and time above, please follow these instructions to re-register your device.
Expected downtime: None
Additional information: This will affect most devices that are connected directly to our network with an Ethernet cable. It will not affect wireless devices or anyone still working from home. If you have a computer or laptop directly connected to the network with an Ethernet cable, you will likely have to register the device via our Netreg server. In most cases when you open your browser to go to a site, it will simply redirect you to our Netreg server for you to enter in your credentials and register. If you can't get to the Internet and your browser does not redirect automatically, you may need to go to https://netreg.beloit.edu/registration.html .
Some devices that don't use browsers such as smart TV's and gaming devices, etc., may require that you go to https://netreg.beloit.edu/manreg to register your mac address manually.
