We would like to make you aware of two upcoming service events.
Beloit Gmail interruption
LITS will be testing a new Gmail login system on Friday, July 3rd at 8:00am. During this time, you may be logged out of Gmail and associated apps such as your calendar or Google Drive, or third party apps such as Zoom that log in with your Google account. You may also see a different login screen than normal, and you may not be able to log in again until testing is completed. We expect testing to take no longer than 30 minutes.
If you have trouble logging in after testing is complete, please clear your web browser's cache and try again. If you continue to have trouble, please contact LITS Support for assistance.
Access to Adobe software
In March, Adobe extended temporary access to Adobe Creative Cloud to all faculty, staff, and students. Temporary access to Adobe Creative Cloud will expire on Monday, July 6th. After that date, students’ entitlement level will return to the level prior to the March 19th release date.
Faculty and staff who were licensed to use Adobe software before March 19th, or who have purchased a license through LITS after that date, will retain access to the products they are licensed for. You will need to sign out of your Adobe products and sign back in using your Adobe ID to remain licensed. When signing in, be sure to choose the option for "Personal account" rather than "School or Company account".
Please note that the above refers to access to Adobe Creative Cloud only. Adobe Acrobat Pro licenses are unaffected by this change.
