Changing your faculty or staff password (Mac)

Objective

Change your faculty or staff account password on your Mac workstation.

If you use a personal computer instead of a campus assigned workstation, follow these instructions instead.

Process

1. Connect to the campus network:
   • If you are off-campus, connect to the VPN.
   • If you are on campus, make sure you are connected to the BCNet or connected to the wired campus network.
2. Click the Jamf Connect icon at the top of the screen in the menu bar near the clock.
3. Click Change Password.
4. Enter your old password, then enter and verify your new password and click Change Password.

Be sure to update your password on other devices (such as your phone, tablets, or other computers) if you use them to log into BCNet or your Beloit Gmail, to avoid your account being locked out due to invalid login attempts.
