If I use a non-personal account (such as a departmental email address or shared account, referred to as a "coterie" account), how do I set up and use MFA?
Departmental (coterie) accounts are not required to use MFA when logging in. You, and other people that have access to the shared account, can continue to log in as usual.
Departmental accounts are required to set up security questions as a method of account recovery in case the account password is lost. The person that is considered the liaison of the account (whomever is most responsible for the account) should set up the security questions, but not share the answers with others. To set up security questions, use these instructions to log into the account and set up only the 5 security questions and answers.
