Symptoms
When you are prompted to enter a password, secret code, or other security sensitive text on a website, your browser automatically fills in an incorrect password or code.
Resolution
Use the links below to find instructions on how to update or disable the password manager in your web browser.
Note: If your browser is saving other text, such as your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address, you may need to disable auto-complete instead.
Cause
Many web browsers include a password manager function designed to help you avoid typing your password every time you log into a website. If your password has changed since it was first saved, or if you accidentally entered the wrong password when trying to log in, your browser may not know your new/correct password and will continue to automatically enter the outdated/incorrect one.
